Egypt's "Decent Life" initiative is a comprehensive national project aimed at improving the lives of millions of Egyptians, particularly those residing in rural areas.
200 National IDs Issued for Women, 1,500 Food Packages Distributed, 200 Debt Relief Files Processed
Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsi revealed that the first phase of the presidential initiative "Haya Karima" targets developing 1,600 rural villages across Egypt.
During a press conference held today at the Ministry's General Diwan, he added that this phase is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Egypt's Haya Karima Foundation announced the launch of its comprehensive national campaign to rationalize energy consumption and support the environment, under the slogan “Less consumption, Greater impact.”
Haya Karima: Transforming Rural Egypt
There are 11 governorates that are common between the first and second phases.
It will be completed in three years.
The second phase covers 20 governorates with 52 centers and a total of 1,667 villages inhabited by 21.3 million people.
The presidential nation-wide developmental initiative "Haya Karima" has created a comprehensive boom in infrastructure and basic services in Egyptian villages, as well as improving the economic, social and cultural quality of life of citizens.
A total of 41 villages in Al-Husseiniyah Center in Al-Sharqiyah Governorate, in Delta, will be supplied with natural gas as part of the "Haya Karima" nation-wide developmental initiative.
