'Decent Housing' contributes to improving lives of families in Sohag

CAIRO - 14 November 2024: Haya Karima developmental initiative is one of the most prominent programs launched by the political leadership in Egypt to improve the lives of families in need of care.

 

This initiative seeks to provide decent housing and suitable living conditions for citizens living in harsh conditions, especially in rural and deprived areas in Sohag Governorate.

 

This initiative embodies hope for hundreds of families, as it includes the implementation of 108 residential buildings with a total of 864 units, with implementation rates reaching 100 percent.

 

These units are distributed across several centers and villages within the governorate. All these numbers reflect the government's commitment to providing adequate housing for families suffering from a lack of basic services.

 

The "Decent Housing" program, which is part of "Haya Karima" initiative, also reflects the interest in the social and economic dimension of the population.
