CAIRO - 20 November 2024: The Egyptian government's "Decent Life" initiative continues to transform rural communities, with the latest project focusing on improving sanitation infrastructure in 11 villages within the Saf district of Giza Governorate.

A series of development projects have been implemented across the villages, including the construction of residential buildings, government service complexes, healthcare facilities, schools, community centers, and the improvement of roads and infrastructure.

One of the most significant projects is the construction of two new sewage treatment plants: one in Ezbet Abu Arideh with a capacity of 22,000 cubic meters per day and the other in Al-Wady village with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters per day. These plants will serve a total of 11 villages, providing improved sanitation and quality of life for residents.

The Ezbet Abu Arideh plant will serve the villages of Ikhsas, Kafr Tarkhan, Gamaza al-Kubra, and Najou al-Arab, while the Al-Wady plant will cater to the needs of Arab al-Ayada, al-Jazirah al-Shaqra, al-Mansha, Askar, Al-Wady, and Al-Dismi.

The "Decent Life" initiative has already made a significant impact on the lives of residents in 42 villages across the Saf and Atfih districts of Giza. Through numerous development projects, the initiative aims to improve the quality of life for rural communities by providing access to essential services.
