Summer In Egypt
The campaign was launched to promote the summer season in Egypt, targeting the Arab market and the Gulf region.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities had launched this campaign on CNN International and on various social media platforms mid-March.
The Italian website ALMA TV TRAVEL published a video report in which it described Egypt as the most wonderful country in the world.
The campaign is titled “Your Vacation Is Here”.
The promotional campaign was launched in a number of major markets exporting tourism to Egypt, namely the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France and the United States of America.
According to the report published by the Czech website Prague Morning, Egypt ranked second in the list of Czech citizens' favorite tourist destinations for the summer of 2021.
The American Time magazine, in its annual classification, chose Cairo to be among the list of the 100 greatest destinations in the world for the year 2021.
In one month, the campaign reached 20 million internet users in the GCC countries.
As many as 525,000 tourists from 20 countries visited Egypt in April, said Egypt's Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el-Enani.
Since June 1, operating summer hours in shops, malls, cafes and restaurants in Egypt are applied.
