Sisi made the remarks as he attended on Thursday the graduation of batches of students of military colleges at the headquarters of the Military Academy in Cairo.
Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfik said human rights principles have become a fundamental axis in the security work mechanisms based on Egypt's National Strategy for Human Rights.
Sisi made the remarks as he attended on Monday the 2022 graduation ceremony of police cadets at the Police Academy in New Cairo in the presence of Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfik, Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki, and other high-level officials.
Egyptian Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik has attended, along with the president, the graduation ceremony of new police officers from the Police Academy, describing them as a “new batch representing a promising elite of policemen”.
Attending the ceremony were PM Moustafa Madbouli, Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki, and Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq.
“We would sponsor them until they are able to push us forward and lead our administration,” the president said.
Minister of Telecommunications Yasser El Kady delivered a keynote speech during the graduation ceremony of the students in a technology initiative.
The armed forces commander and Minister of Defense Sedki Sobhi stressed that the Armed Forces will remain operating as a safety valve for Egypt’s security.
