The recovery rate from the coronavirus (COVID-19) at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 84.4 percent, after receiving the necessary medical care according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), said the Ministry of Health in a statement on Wednesday.
Egypt’s Ministry of Health targets vaccinating 40 percent of the population by the end of the current year, stated Head of Central Department of Health Affairs Mohamed Abdel Fattah.
In media remarks to “Today” talks show on DMC channel, the minister added that the new strain of the coronavirus can infect children, saying that places have been prepared for them.
