Cairo Criminal Court issued its ruling to sentence both Tik Tok bloggers Haneen Hossam and Mawada el-Adham to prison terms in absentia over human trafficking charge.
Haneen Hossam and Mawada al-Adham, TikTok bloggers, had their detention renewed on Tuesday for 15 days pending investigation into charges of human trafficking.
The court also sentenced three other defendants implicated in the same case to two years in jail and fined each of them LE 300,000.
They also face accusations of managing private internet accounts to commit this offense, according to the charges.
The detention of the Youtuber Haneen Hossam will be renewed by 15 days pending investigations over accusations of committing immoral actions through Tik Tok application.
