Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdel-Atty held talks on Sunday with his Comoran and Zambian counterparts during separate meetings on the margins of the 6th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union (AU), held in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
The Minister traveled to Accra as part of the Egyptian delegation led by the Prime Minister to participate in the sixth coordination meeting of the African Union and regional economic groupings at the summit level (the 6th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting.)
During the meeting, Prime Minister Madbouli is scheduled to deliver a speech on NEPAD's role in promoting regional and continental integration within the framework of Agenda 2063. The event will be attended by numerous heads of state, government representatives, and African organizations.
The Minister travelled with the Egyptian delegation that will be headed by the Prime Minister, to participate in the sixth coordination meeting of the African Union and the regional economic groupings at the summit level (the 6th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting.)
The draw means that the Pharaohs still have a chance to reach the second round of the competition with two points ahead of the final round.
