CAIRO_11 April 2020: Former Egypt national team manager, Bob Bradley, discussed his time as Egypt's manager between 2011 and 2013.

Bradley led the national team to the final stage of 2014 World Cup Qualifiers but Egypt suffered a humiliating 6_1 loss to Ghana in Kumasi and won the first leg 2_1 and failed to reach the World Cup.

Bradley described this loss as the toughest moment of his career, saying "We had won the six games in our group. That was the only game we lost in qualifying."

Egypt reached the final stage of the qualifications after finishing on top of the group with 18 points from six straight victories over Guinea, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.

Bradley added, "The amount of pressure that was on the Egyptian players, everything on them on that day, they weren’t themselves."

Egyptian fans at home were shocked after the loss as they put much hope on the players to reach the World Cup for the first time since 1990.

Bradley continued" I told the players how proud I was of them. I told them that I knew how much they loved their country and that they weren’t themselves that day.
