The Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies (ECSS) highlights the significance of the upcoming presidential elections, urging Egyptians to participate and make their voices heard amidst pressing threats to national security, ongoing military operations in Gaza, and plans to forcibly relocate Palestinians to Sinai.
ECSS issued new report highlighting the most prominent Egyptian stances during the past ten years to enhance respect for rights of Egyptian citizens at different levels and in various age groups.
The Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies (ECSS) released Outlook 2022, a yearly publication that is being issued for the fourth time in a row, with the participation of 40 Egyptian and Arab experts and researchers who put forward their outlook for the future of the world, the Middle East, and Egypt on several issues, including superpowers in the international system, regional powers in the Middle East, internal Arab crises, African trends, global terrorism, maritime security, armament, global economy, climate change, Covid-19, and technology advancements.
The ECSS held a conference on Thursday titled 'Building a Post-Pandemic World...A Comprehensive Approach to Human Rights.”
The Egyptian state is now keen on developing Sinai, unlike previous governments who cared for central areas in the country and ignored side parts, said Khaled Okasha, chairman of the ECSS.
Paul Salem said that the region has for so long depended on the US to resolve its issues, especially the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
