Zelensky extended his greetings to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, expressing his commitment to pushing forward efforts aimed to enhance cooperation with Egypt in the upcoming period.
President Sisi also delegated Presidential Secretary Ahmed Mohamed Reda to the Embassy of Ukraine in Cairo to convey congratulations on this occasion
Zelensky said he also thought US President Joe Biden would come at some point, though White House officials have said there are no plans to do so.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed in a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, the need for addressing all means leading to calm and a peaceful solution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The decree was published by Deputy Head of the President’s Office Andriy Sybiha on Facebook, Ukrinform reported.
Sisi, during the meeting, congratulated Zelensky for taking over the post, expressing appreciation for the stable bilateral relations between the two countries.
