Money Smuggling
Sources at the airport told the local media that that while the authorities were searching the man’s bags, they found a sum of money amounting to 1,253,000 EGP that he had hidden inside shawarma meals to mislead security personnel.
Authorities at Cairo International Airport thwarted on Monday an attempt to smuggle more than €46,000 with a passenger who was heading for Rome.
