The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center released earlier this week a report on four Egyptian villages that have significance in certain industries on the global level.
The study was conducted in cooperation with all bodies concerned and the private sector, represented in carpet production companies.
Gold ranked first on the list of Egypt's top ten non-oil exports in February, with the volume of exported gold during that month hitting $161 million.
