Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, ensured that there is a continous monitoring of the situation of the new Corona mutant and its developments in Egypt.
However, this new variant is fast-spreading, added Tag El-Din in televised remarks Wednesday.
The ministry clarified that the clinical symptoms observed in these patients were mild, and both individuals are on the path to recovery.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar revealed that the number of citizens targeted to receive the vaccination has reached 50 million citizens, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization.
