Egypt has welcomed the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia and Oman in working out a sustainable solution to the Yemeni crisis as Saudi Arabia hosted a round of talks with a Yemeni delegation in a bid to crystallize such efforts.
This came as Sisi met on Wednesday with President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Al-Alimi in Egypt, Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said in a statement.
Shoukry affirmed the need for the political solution in Yemen to be agreed upon by all parties in Yemen, preserve the unity of the country and the coherence of its legitimate institutions, and keeps Yemen integrated into its Arab surrounding, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Yemeni counterpart, Ahmed BinMubarak, held talks in Cairo to discuss developments in Yemen.
The fourth edition of the WYF started on Monday in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh with the participation of a large number of youth and figures from across the world. The forum will be concluded on Thursday.
