CAIRO – 15 September 2017: Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad Al Khalifa mocked the Yemeni extremist group “Ansar Allah,” led by Abdul Malek Badr Eddin Al-Houthi, which threatened to bomb the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The Bahraini foreign minister tweeted on Thursday, “What a word told a mouth: let me go as I’m bigger than your mouth,” in reference to statements made by Al-Houthi threatening Saudi Arabia and the UAE of “unmanned planes.”
“I do not worry about a country whose people are loyal and its enemy is Al Houthi,” Sheikh Khalid added.
Abdel Malek Al Houthi said on Thursday that “the UAE will be under fire from our missiles. All foreign companies should not see the UAE as a safe country from now on.”
According to Ansar Allah’s website, Al Houthi threatened Saudi Arabia as well as, saying, “we own unmanned planes that are flying hundreds of kilometers inside the Saudi Kingdom airspace … pending the bombardment phase soon.”
