Egypt's trade with Denmark surged to $292 million during the first ten months of 2024, reflecting a substantial increase from $240 million during the same period in 2023
This marks a notable improvement compared to the deficit of $8.3 billion reported during the same period in 2023, as stated in a report released by the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
Turkey followed closely behind with imports worth $1.76 billion, while Italy contributed $793.1 million to Egypt’s export market.
He further mentioned that the country's merchandise exports reached approximately $36 billion in 2023.
The value of Egyptian exports to EU members declined by 31.8 percent year-on-year, amounting to $11.8 billion and the value of imports from EU members witnessed a drop of 9 percent and were valued at $19.4 billion
The exports amounted to $6.12 billion, reflecting a 6 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023
