The Grand Imam said that the situation unfolding in Gaza jeopardizes communication endeavors and initiatives aimed at bridging the gap between the East and the West, adding that the international community’s reactions to the aggression on Gaza were frustrating and disappointing.
After holding a bilateral meeting between the two Ministers, another meeting will convene for the delegations between both sides, the statement added.
Egypt provided 10,000 ready-made and fresh Iftar (post-fasting breakfast) meals, 7,000 Sohor meals (pre-fasting meal), and 25,000 loaves of bread on the first day of Ramadan in the Gaza Strip as part of the Iftar Campaign, aimed at alleviating the Palestinians’ suffering on a humanitarian basis.
The movement's delegation held several high-level meetings to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip, putting an end to the Israeli brutal aggression against the Palestinian people, the return of displaced persons to their homes, relief and shelter, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, and ways to achieve these demands.
