Aid Trucks
Through the Karam Abu Salem border crossing, 280 trucks entered the strip after an inspection process by Israeli occupation forces. Meanwhile, 85 trucks crossed through the Rafah border crossing after being inspected in the Al-Awja area.
Egypt announced that it would ramp up the number of humanitarian aid trucks carrying food, medical supplies, and essential provisions for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, by increasing them to at least 300 trucks per day, starting on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
In the past few hours, a total of 793 passengers arrived from Gaza via the Rafah crossing, comprising 10 wounded individuals, 16 patients, 76 companions, a delegation from the Doctors Without Borders delegation, three representatives from the Mercy Around the World, and 40 Emirati nationals.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that its teams has received 5939 trucks carrying humanitarian aid from its Egyptian counterpart through the Rafah border crossing between October 21 and January 18, 2024.
