Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus, on the sidelines of the 11th summit of the Developing Eight Organization for Economic Cooperation (D-8) held in Cairo on Thursday.
Egypt is also hosting the D-8 Summit having Bangladesh.
Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry, stated that during the call, Abdelatty conveyed Egypt's best wishes for the new Bangladeshi government’s success in achieving political and economic stability.
