Egypt to enhance cooperation with Bangladesh: FM

CAIRO – 15 September 2024: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty spoke by phone with Touhid Hossain, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh.

Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry, stated that during the call, Abdelatty conveyed Egypt's best wishes for the new Bangladeshi government’s success in achieving political and economic stability.

The spokesperson also highlighted Egypt's appreciation for the strong relationship between the two nations, which has fostered closer ties and alignment on various international issues.

Abdelatty emphasized Egypt’s commitment to continuing and enhancing cooperation between the two countries to benefit both peoples.
