Industrial Complexes
The premier made the remarks during a meeting held on Wednesday with Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamea to follow up the status of implementation of the industrial complexes nationwide in the presence of Head of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) Mohamed Al Zallat.
Sisi’s directives came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, Trade and Industry Minister Nivine Gamea.
The Minister pointed out that Upper Egypt allocates nine complexes of the 13 complexes.
The government is directing LE 1.89 billion in investment in North Sinai during the fiscal year 2017/18.
Specialized industrial complexes will include the non-official sector working in the field of cosmetic and medical equipment in the official sector - Emad Louis.
The second phase of the My Association (gam'ity) project launched Monday, according to Minister of Supply Ali Moselhi.
Each licensed complex would contain 120 units to undertake different industrial activities.
The new complexes come as part of the Ministry’s plan to build eight industrial complexes in Upper Egypt in 2017.
Four industrial complexes will be issued for investors next month in Minya, Beni Suef, Fayoum and Aswan.
