Egypt is to test its first electric LRT train in a few days for the first time without passengers before the actual operation.
The Ministry of Transport followed up the implementation of the first high-speed train, Ain Sokhna / El Alamein / Matrouh to Ain Sokhna, passing through the new administrative capital.
The German company, Siemens will be implementing both the second and third lines of Egypt's first high-speed train, with lengths of 925 km and 297 km, respectively.

The pilot operation of the line extending over 90 kilometers will begin in August 2021.
