CAIRO – 10 June 2017: Inter Milan announced today they had reached an agreement with the Italian coach Juliano Spaletti to be the new manager of the team.

Rumors linked the former manager of Roma with managing Inter from the end of the season.

Spaletti managed Roma last season and qualified with them to the Champion League after securing the 2nd position in the league table.

Spaletti wasn’t a great player, he played in lower league divisions but he had a great coaching career.

Spaletti started his managerial career with Empoli and he had small periods at some Italian teams like Sampdoria,Venezia, Ancona and Udinese.

The real start of Spaletti as a coach was at Roma in 2005 when he won 2 Italian cups and he also was so close to the league title when he finished 2008 season in the second place just 3 points behind the winners Inter Milan.

Spaletti left Roma in 2009 to join Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg where he won 2 Russian leagues and one Russian cup before he return to Roma for one year.

Spaletti is Inter Milan fans hope to go back winning trophies.
