Bourse shows mixed performance at close of Monday's trading

CAIRO, Feb 13 (MENA) - Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of Monday's trading session, amid purchases by foreign and local institutions and investment funds, against selling operations by Arab institutions and investment funds.

 

The market capital lost nearly LE 3 billion, registering LE 1.083 trillion after transactions that totaled nearly LE 4.2 billion.

 

The EGX 30 benchmark index went down by 0.42 percent, closing at 17,214.56 points.

 

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) increased 0.73 percent, ending at 2,921.15 points.

 

The all-embracing EGX 100 index was up by 0.37 percent, closing at 4,393.31 points.
