Bourse posts collective gains, all indexes up

CAIRO - 15 November 2022: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains at the close of Tuesday's trading session, backed by purchases by many investors.

 

The market capital gained about LE 800 billion for the first time ever to close at LE 799.8 billion, amid transactions that totaled LE 1.3 billion.

 

The EGX 30 benchmark index was up by 0.01 percent, registering 12,137 points.

 

The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) increased by 0.61 percent, ending at 2,297.28 points.

 

The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose 0.46 percent, closing at 3,363.04 points.
