Salah Abdel-Sabour is considered one of the most important Arab poets; he was also a talented writer and journalist.
The deadline for receiving the participating works is the end of July, and the prize for the competition is L.E 10,000.
The activities of the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair will launch on June 30, and will run until July 15, at Egypt International Exhibitions Center in the Fifth Settlement.
The forum includes holding a large number of poetry evenings, at the headquarters of the Supreme Council of Culture, and various culture palaces across Egypt.
On March 24 at 6 p.m., the Supreme Council of Culture, in cooperation with the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, will organize the Poets Forum [Salah Abdel-Sabour Edition].
