COVID 19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated pre-existing inequalities in education and recent unprecedented challenges.
This comes in line with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities’ support to provide the necessary aid to the tourism sector and its workers, especially in light of the mitigation of the economic impacts resulting from the global pandemic.
The Board of Directors of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, in its convention headed by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el-Enany on December 29, approved decisions to promote cultural tourism in Egypt.
In front of the Sphinx, renowned Archaeologist Zahi Hawass met with a Spanish tourist group, that included intellectuals, writers, university professors and public figures.
