Limitovskiy pointed out that the Bank is working with multilateral development banks to support transportation projects in Alexandria.
This came during Al-Mashat’s meeting with the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Global Head and Director of Climate Business, Vivek Pathak, as part of the Minister’s participation in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) at Glasgow, the United Kingdom, running from October 31 to November 12.
This came during an interview conducted by Eleni Giokos, CNN anchor and correspondent , with Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, under the title “Building International Partnerships to Accelerate the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals”ز
The portfolio includes $287 million for investment in human capital through the Egyptian-Japanese partnership for education development, $1.12 billion for electricity, $552 million for transportation, and $450 million for tourism and antiquities, $240 million for the financing of development policies, and $57 million for irrigation.
The cooperation portfolio included 48 projects; most notably the rehabilitation of hydroelectric stations and sanitation.
