Over the past decade, Egypt has announced concrete steps to move toward the “New Republic” with enhancement of civil and political human rights being one of its pillars.
In remarks during his TV program on ETC TV, Rashwan said such rumors are spread by terrorist groups, those who used violence against the state, and those who do not recognize the country’s constitution.
Egypt’s Interior Ministry announced opening Wadi El Natron Correctional and Rehabilitation Center, saying it is managed in accordance with the international human rights standards.
Egypt revived 327 recommendations, of which it noted 132 and supported the rest.
