51st Cairo International Book Fair
Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem has announced the selection of Greece as the honorary guest of the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair of 2021.
Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Palestine and Syria were rather keen to participate in the 51st Cairo International Book Fair.
The Ministry of Culture announced that the number of visitors to the Cairo International Book Fair in its 51st edition exceeded 600K visitors by the evening of January 26.
The music booth managed by the General Egyptian Book Organization at the 51st Cairo International Book Fair attracted hundreds of visitors on Jan. 27.
The book fair will run until Feb. 4, 2020. Gamal Hemdan is the book fair’s main personality.
Sales officials at the GEBO’s booth at the Book Fair stated that copies of the encyclopedia are sold out every day within only half an hour or so.
The winner will be granted Gamal Hemdan’s encyclopedia “The Personality of Egypt”.
The symposium will provide a direct dialogue between the star and the book fair’s visitors.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, and a number of ministers, will officially inaugurate the activities of the 51st Cairo International Book Fair under the slogan: "Egypt Africa .. A Culture of Diversity”.
Abdel Dayem inspected the progress of the preparations in the different halls and stands of the exhibition.
The Central Department of Artistic Affairs is setting up an art program for Arab bands, arts and folk instruments.
The book fair will be held from Jan. 22 to Feb. 4, 2020 in Egypt International Exhibitions Center.
Cairo International Book Fair will officially launch a digital application.
