Plastic waste
A total of 100 kilograms of plastic metal waste, fishnets, and old ropes have been collected from the seabed by using a number of fishermen’s boats, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Environment.
The group conducted their two-hour cleaning campaign on both sides of the Nile in Zamalek, the statement said.
Japan plans to make it mandatory to charge for plastic shopping bags at supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores and department stores.
