The prison authorities in Egypt have released 168 inmates per a presidential pardon, while many others have been granted a conditional release.
A total of 237 inmates were given a presidential pardon, while 475 others were released on parole.
A total of 234 inmates were given a presidential pardon, while 353 others were released on parole.
This group was released on the occasion of Eid al-Adha celebrations (Muslims’ Grand Feast).
A total of 1,024 inmates were given a presidential pardon, while 610 others were released on parole, said the Egyptian Ministry of Interior on Monday.
A total of 685 prisoners were granted their freedom, including 149 inmates released as per the presidential pardon, while the other 536 were released on parole.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior released 170 of inmates as per a presidential pardon, while the rest of 306 prisoners were released on parole, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
