Seminars
On May 16 at 5 p.m. at the Heliopolis Library, the Heliopolis Association will launch a number of seminars and workshops with the participation of experts from the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprise Development Agency.
The dialogue will be moderated by the novelist Hala Al-Badri, with novelists Doha Assi, and Mohammad el-Mansi Qandil, as well as Sami Suleiman.
In light of the suspension of major cultural activities to battle the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with the decisions of the Council of Ministers, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Culture Hisham Azmy said that since March 2020, the council has not stopped broadcasting its cultural activities online.
The first of these seminars will be held on January 17 at the Heliopolis Children's Library entitled "Awareness and Dealing with COVID-19".
The Supreme Council of Culture is organizing through its Committee on Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology a seminar entitled “Critical thinking and mechanisms for countering extremism” on October 27 at 6 p.m. in the council’s main hall.
The plan aims to emphasize the support of cultural and artistic ties between Egypt and Africa.
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) will launch its Big Read program for the 10th consecutive year.
