Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly visited the New Valley (El Wadi El Gedid) governorate in southern Egypt on Thursday to officially open a range of projects
UMS & Ministry of Youth and Sports Launch Camel Race at the New Alamein Festival on July 28
It is scheduled that the activities of the first day, Thursday, will start with 27 running sessions, which are during the morning period, including distances of 2 km, 3 km and 4 km.
The first camel race to be held in Salloum on Saturday, where 30 rounds to be attended by camel owners from all governorates.
The activities of the fourth race are launched with the support of the UAE Camel Federation, which witnessed an increase in the number of camel participation from Matrouh city, reaching 18 camels.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Thursday hailed the deep relations between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates as he, along with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed attended the opening of the camel racing festival in Egypt’s South Sinai.
The Camel Racing Festival's 17th round ended on Sunday in Srabioum desert in Ismailia.
