Illegal Earning Agency
A banker at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) was referred by the Illegal Earning Agency to Cairo Criminal Court for embezzling LE 3 million ($168,000).
In November, Cairo Criminal Court sentenced Abdel Baset to 10 years in prison and a fine of LE15 million.
