Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has highlighted the state of frustration in Libya as the outgoing Government of National Unity (GNU) has failed to fulfill its commitments in holding elections at the specified time.
Egypt has been among the main attendees at the Libya Stabilization Conference held on Thursday in Tripoli to mobilize international efforts ahead as Libyans gear up for elections scheduled for December.
Sirte lies in Central Libya while Misrata is located western the country.
The committee also discussed exchanging detainees, and supporting the work of international observers.
