CAIRO –29 December 2018: Al-Ahly' defender, Salif Coulibaly, stated that he is set to leave the club in the next transfer window, January.
"Till now, nobody informed me of my future here; but generally I'm about to leave Al-Ahly," Coulibaly said to Filgoal website.
"I am not going to move to any club here in Egypt; it's life and it must go one," Coulibaly added.
Adly al-Ke’yi, the board's consultant of the contracting committee, assured that Al-Ahly's new signing, Giraldo, is set to replace Al-Ahly's current defender, Salif Coulibaly.
The 30-years-old joined Al-Ahly at the start of this season coming from TP Mazembe. He scored three goals and setup another two in 20 matches with the Reds.
Al-Ahly included the winger, Giraldo, in their domestic squad coming from Angola's Primero Augusto.
The Red devils are looking forward this year to achieve many trophies to bring the joy back to their fans.
