During an interview on the Al Hayat Al Youm talk show on Al Hayat channel, he highlighted that they currently possess the initial Paris draft and modifications in the second draft. Additionally, they are negotiating the release of prisoners in exchange for the release of Palestinians and a 45-day ceasefire.
He added that the negotiations have an understanding of the deal and temporary ceasefire, noting that he will not go into further details because the negotiations are still ongoing and there are still indirect negotiations with Hamas through Egyptian and Qatar mediation.
The meetings convened one day after a delegation of the Palestinian Movement Hamas, led by Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the movement's political bureau, concluded its visit to Egypt, which lasted several days, according to a press statement issued by the Hamas leader's office.
