Injured Palestinians
Around 13,000 Palestinians from Gaza, including those with serious injuries and their companions, have received treatment at Egyptian hospitals, stated Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
In a press release, the Omani ministry affirmed that a group of injured Palestinians arrived in Muscat on Wednesday evening.
The Rafah border crossing has received 29 injured Palestinians and patients from the Gaza Strip with 57 companions over the past hours to receive treatment in Egypt.
Al Khater wrote on X: “We thank our brothers in the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially the Ministry of Health and the Egyptian Red Crescent, for their cooperation and facilitation in the transportation process.”
Egypt received on Tuesday 19 Palestinian people, who were injured by the Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, for treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said on Saturday that Egypt receives 40-50 injured Palestinians everyday and is capable to receive much more on a daily basis.
