State officials and ministers have joined the masses of citizens casting their ballots at polling stations spread across Egypt, encouraging citizens to exercise their right in choosing their leader for the next six years.
Cairo and Giza, Egypt’s most populous governorates, accounted for 42 percent of calls to the government’s anti-addiction hotline in the first eight months of 2023, said Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine El-Qabbaj on Thursday.
Egypt, the League of Arab States (LAS), and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) launched on Sunday the “Arab Plan for Prevention and Reduction of the Dangers of Drugs to Arab Society: Towards Effective Handling of the Issue from a Social Perspective”.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity was transferred to its new premises in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Minister of Social Solidarity Nivine El-Qabbaj said.
