The meeting was attended by the general director of the National Dialogue Diaa Rashwan, Rapporteur of the Human Rights and Public Freedom Committee Ahmed Raghed, Minister of Judicial and Legal Affairs Mahmoud Fawzi, and other members of the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue emphasized on Saturday “full coordination” with the government to implement the outcomes of the dialogue’s first phase, and “permanent cooperation” with the new cabinet on various issues enriching discussions recommendations.
The key recommendations urgently requiring implementation are draft laws for House of Representatives and Senate elections, which would be dissolved within a year. Additionally, the draft law concerning local popular councils holds significance due to its pivotal role in the country's political, societal, and party framework.

The Egyptian authorities released on Monday the long-held Al-Jazeera journalist, Hesham Abdel Aziz, and journalist Raouf Ebeid from pretrial detention.
In a Facebook post, Rashwan called for the prosecution to release the journalist, who are members of the syndicate, under any guarantee.
