The petroleum sector has succeeded in taking many steps and measures in the field of energy transition and reducing emissions.
“The Priority Actions” aims at “decarbonize power, transport and steel, scale up low-emission hydrogen production and accelerate the shift to sustainable agriculture by COP28,” the statement said.
A number of demonstrators gathered Friday outside the Blue Zone at the COP27, which is held in Sharm el-Sheikh, as they called for climate justice.
