Sovereign Sukuk
Egypt is ready to issue sovereign sukuks of about $1.5 to $2 billion.
Kojak said in a TV interview that the ministry has made great strides in completing the procedures for offering the sukuk, which it is seeking to complete during the current period.
The second article of the draft law specifies aspects of using sovereign sukuk to finance investment, economic and development projects included in the economic and social development plan of the state’s general budget.
