CAIRO - 28 April 2019: The Municipal Authority of Aswan Governorate and the Armed Forces Engineering Authority signed earlier this week a cooperation protocol worth LE609 million ($35.5 million) to execute infrastructure and facilities projects.
Tahya Misr Fund and the Ministry of Planning, Monitoring, and Administrative Reform are respectively providing LE320 million and LE289 million. Below are the 12 projects to be accomplished:
1- Construction and equipment of fire fighting units in New Sadaka neighborhood.
2- Renovation and equipment of Southern Benban Hospital with a capacity of 18 beds.
3- Introduction of facilities in six buildings of the youth housing project located in Gabal Al Zalat neighborhood in Kom Ombo.
4- Completion and finishing of six buildings of the youth housing project located in Gabal Al Zalat neighborhood in Kom Ombo.
5- Replacement and renewal of water supply networks in Nasr Al Nuba.
6- Introduction of water supply and sewage networks, and building roads in the craft zone in Al Geneya and Al Shebak villages in Nasr Al Nuba.
7- Construction of Tahya Misr Dialysis Center with a capacity of 40 seats.
8- Connecting eight villages to regression networks, expulsion lines and lift stations.
9- Construction of water purification plant with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters per day in Onayba village.
10- Renovation and completion of Nasr Al Nuba Youth Center including the modernization and lighting of the basketball court, and the construction of a changing area.
11- Introduction of facilities in 432 units in the social and housing projects located in Al Towaysa, Draw.
12- Completion of the housing units located in the desert villages of Ibrim and Arab valley.
