CAIRO - 9 May 2024: Egypt and Jordan signed several agreements on electricity, logistical transport, the industrial integration initiative, and the expansion of electrical interconnection capacity mechanisms.

Also, an agreement to hold an Egyptian-Jordanian businessmen forum next month was signed.

The two prime ministers agreed to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, which lies today at $600 million.

Egypt and Jordan signed a cooperation protocol on new media and modern technologies, the regulation of electronic media, and media for children.

The protocol aims to confront the challenges of Arab media. Jordanian journalists and media leaders are expected to visit Egypt to learn more closely about the developments witnessed by the Egyptian media work.
