CAIRO – 11 December 2017: Emad Moteab, the Ahly striker, ignored the rumors about his move to Misr Al-Maqassa during the upcoming transfer window and confirms that he desires to retire and conclude his career wearing Al-Ahly jersey.

Mohamed Abdel Salam, head of Misr Al-Maqassa, confirmed that the coaching staff of his team, led by Emad Soliman, are interested in signing Moteab to benefit from his experience, but the Pharaohs striker was not enthusiastic about the idea of leaving his club, Super Kora reported.

Although Emad Moteab is ignored by Al-Ahly coaching staff, led by Hossam al-Badry, and is absent from the basic lineup of the team, he stressed his desire to continue with Al-Ahly until the end of the current season which may be the last season for him as a player with the club; Moteab wishes to retire wearing Al-Ahly's jersey and to play a different role in the club after retiring.
