CAIRO – 20 October 2017: Smouha defeated Zamalek 3-0 on Friday night in week six of the Egyptian League at Petro Sport Stadium in Cairo.

Both teams started the game searching for the first goal to have the upper hand in the game. Zamalek created a real chance to score the first goal, but their striker Kabongo Kasongo failed to score the first goal.

Smouha striker Mohamed Hamdy Zaki succeeded in scoring the first goal for his team before the first half final whistle.

A feud started in the game after Smouha scored the first goal, when Zamalek substitute goalkeeper, Mahmoud Gennesh, refused Hamdy Zaki’s celebrations of the first goal.

In the second half, Zamalek tried to equalize the score, but Mahmoud Abdel Aziz scored the second goal for Smouha in the 67th minute.

Smouha scored the third goal through Patrick Malo after a counter attack in the last minute of the game.

Smouha comes in third place after the victory, with 12 points, while Zamalek is placed sixth with 9 points.
