CAIRO-27 May 2021: Al Ahly's winger Salah Mohsen believes that the players will do their best to win the CAF Super Cup title on Friday when they face Morocco's RS Berkane.

The two teams will face off at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha and the Red Devils aim to win the title for the first time since 2014.

"RS Berkane are a strong side and they are here for a reason. They will go for their chances but we are focused and ready to win the game and achieve the title.” Mohsen told the club's official website.

Salah has been exceptional for Al Ahly in the recent weeks and Al Ahly's head coach Pitso Mosimane described him as the "Golden Substitute".

The winger scored two vital goals; the first against Zamalek in the Egyptian League while he scored the second goal against Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

The player added "I am happy with the fans’ praise after my recent performances and I know they are waiting for more. Finally, I am focusing on my work and I follow the instructions of the coaching staff to be able to help the team.”

The Red Devils will play in front of their fans on Friday as 30% of the stadium's capacity are permitted to attend the game.

The game starts on Friday at 6:00 PM.
