CAIRO-10 April 2021: Al Ahly’s director of football, Sayed Abdelhafiz, said on Saturday that the team defender Mohamed Hany will not be available for the game against Al Nasr in the Egyptian Cup round of 32.

Hany is suffering from an adductor muscle injury and he was forced to miss Friday’s game against Simba SC in Matchday 6 of the CAF Champions League group stage, which ended with a 1-0 win for the Red Devils.

On a similar note, the team defender Yasser Ibrahim is in doubt for the game after picking up an injury in his adductor muscle.

Also, it became clear that Junior Ajayi will be out of the game as he suffered an injury in his hamstring muscle during the game against Simba SC and he left the game before half-time.

Al Ahly will start the journey to defend the Egyptian Cup title on Wednesday against Al Nasr. This game will be the beginning of a busy schedule for the Red Devils, who are set to play important games in the upcoming period.

Al Ahly reached the CAF Champions League quarter-finals and they are expecting a tough draw as they came second in the group with 11 points, two points behind the leaders, Simba.
